FAQ
- How do I move and play?
- Drag the on-screen joystick to walk. Use ACTION / TALK to pull pranks, pick things up and talk to neighbors, SLING to aim the slingshot (it reads FIRE once locked on, with NEXT to switch targets) and LIGHT for the flashlight at night. In landscape the HUD and joystick sit on the left and the buttons on the right.
- Does the game save my progress?
- Yes, automatically, on your iPhone only. Progress, your pretend-penny wallet and settings are saved locally whenever things change and when the app goes to the background. Tap CONTINUE on the title screen to pick up where you left off.
- Can I move my save to another phone or back it up to iCloud?
- There's no account or cloud sync. Saves live in the app's own storage on the device, which is included in a normal iPhone backup or device transfer.
- How do I start over?
- Open Settings in the game and use Reset. Deleting the app also removes all its saved data.
- What is Duo mode?
- On the unfolded Microsoft Surface Duo the game uses an enhanced layout that shows more of the neighborhood, with the HUD and quest tracker alongside. Folded and sideways screens are supported too.
- There's no sound or voice.
- Check the ring/silent switch (the game respects silent mode) and the volume. In the game's Settings, raise the Music, Sound and Voice sliders. Nelson's voice follows the Voice slider; if a line is skipped, its words still show in his speech bubble.
- Does the game cost anything inside?
- No. There are no in-app purchases or ads. Prices at Dickie K's are pretend pennies you earn in the game.
- Is Martin suitable for kids?
- It's a cartoon prank game with mild slapstick and a little mild language. See the age rating on the App Store listing.
- Which devices are supported?
- iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
